The official website for the television anime adapting Shiromanata's Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi (My Senpai is Annoying) manga revealed the lead cast, additional staff, and a new key visual on Monday. The anime series will premiere in October 2021.

Ryouta Itou (Yesterday o Utatte assistant director) is helming the anime series at Doga Kobo, with Yoshimi Narita (Itsudatte Bokura no Koi wa 10 cm Datta.) handling the series composition. Jikou Abe (Arslan Senki (TV) character design cooperation) is designing the characters, and Hiroaki Tsutsumi (Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san) is composing the music.
Shiromanata originally began drawing the romantic comedy manga on his Twitter account in September 2017 before serializing it digitally on Ichijinsha's comic POOL website beginning March 2018. The seventh volume will go on sale on Wednesday. Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi has a cumulative 1 million copies of its volumes in print.
