You can now watch Japanese anime online for free at Virtual Shibuya

The new Shibuya 5G Entertainment project In Japan allows anime fans worldwide to view FREE anime.

There will be a total of 4 freely available anime every week from Netflix, as part of the Virtual Shibuya setup.

On the official site it says:

“Netflix movie theater appears on Shibuya-ku official digital platform “Virtual Shibuya”! At the center of the scrambled intersection, four Netflix original anime series will be screened on a weekly basis. This is the first time in Japan that Netflix works have been released in virtual space! For the long autumn nights, go to another movie theater in Shibuya.”

The first 4 anime to be screened

Aggretsuko. Baki The Grappler. Japan Sinks 2020. Ghost In The Shell SAC 2045

These are the first 4 anime that will air on Fridays. The last one (Japan Sinks) aired October 9th 2020 (hours ago).

Next Is Baki The Grappler (Oct 16-17th), Aggretsuko (Oct 23-24th), and Ghost In The Shell on the 27th.

Times are between 4PM, 6PM, 8PM, 10PM.
